Welcome to Swanson Wagyu!

We're a family-owned ranch in south-central Nebraska passionate about raising quality Wagyu cattle, producing exceptional beef, and creating Earth Silk Wagyu tallow skincare. After more than 20 years working in the cattle and farming industry, we knew it was time to build something of our own. Our passion for quality genetics, exceptional beef, and creating products with purpose led us to establish Swanson Wagyu. Our Wagyu journey began in 2021 with the purchase of our first registered Wagyu female, 51H (FB61633). What started with one cow quickly turned into a passion for building a herd focused on quality, performance, and longevity. Today, we're continuing to expand our program while working toward our goal of developing a strong polled Wagyu herd with genetics that will continue to improve for generations to come.

Our focus is on raising quality cattle with responsible management practices, always striving to improve our herd while producing products our own family proudly uses and enjoys. When we first experienced Wagyu beef, we knew it was something special. The incredible tenderness, rich flavor, and unmatched quality inspired us to build our own herd and share that experience with other families. That same mindset led to the creation of Earth Silk. We wanted to find a meaningful way to use the premium Wagyu tallow that often goes unused, transforming it into nourishing skincare made with simple, trusted ingredients. What started as products for our own family quickly became something we were excited to share with others.

To us, it's about making the most of every part of the animal while creating products we truly believe in. Whether it's the beef on your table or the lotion on your countertop, we want you to know exactly where it came from and the care that went into producing it.
